Lenia

Choose a species below, then tap to plant it. Space pauses, R resets, N changes the seed and heading, F goes fullscreen.

Arc, ring and mesh grow larger cellular tissues. Each uses three interacting density channels and fifteen neighborhood kernels. Their holes, boundaries and internal cells evolve together. The seven smaller species remain available.

Local convolution and growth run on your graphics device. Dark red, green and blue inks show the three live channels on a bright background; their overlap darkens without changing the simulation. Planting and collisions can merge or kill tissue; reset restores the selected seed. These catalog examples are inspired by the video's tubular, cellular and labyrinth scenes, not identified as its exact organisms.

Tested for 1,200+ steps on DGX software graphics. Booth hardware and hour-long survival remain unverified.
